Humility

I have a deep conviction to write about the virtue of humility which was the distinctive mark of the old-time practitioners of Christianity but is a non-existent factor in the lives of modern-day peddlers of pseudo-Christianity. The connection between the Latin word humus and the English word humility paints a clear picture of what humility means. It is a voluntary act of taking a lowly position and probably being treated like earth, soil or the ground. Humility is the least virtue believers in Christ desire because of our corrupted sense of judgement. We often equate humility with stupidity or foolishness. Humility is the last virtue in this competitive world.
