King David, a man who knew God and served Him faithfully, was accustomed to having challenges. This book is mainly a study of the courageous manner in which he dealt with an attack of the Amalekites on his family and the loved ones of the men who were with him. The attack in question, like other challenges in life, generated two kinds of people based on their reactions, namely, WAILERS AND PREVAILERS. You don’t wail and fail because something different or stronger attacked you but because you are no different from the majority of people: the majority are wailers.
