Introduction

The Oxford English dictionary defines a warrant as a document issued by a legal or government official authorising the police or another body to make an arrest, search premises or carry out some other action relating to the administration of justice. A warrant is an authorisation, a written order, a licence, a permit, an order, a mandate, and a decree. It is a document that entitles the holder to receive goods, money or services.

Prayer is the believer's warrant or pass with which we enter God's presence and receive His miracles. Through prayer, we give the glory to the LORD and remain humble before Him.

"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God" (Philippians 4:6, KJV).

This book, THE GLORY WARRANT, is the ninth one to be extracted from Obadiah 1:17-21. It is a PRAYER MANUAL which will guide us to fast and pray for forty days. It is designed to make us give glory to the LORD because of who He is and what He does in our lives. Our prayers will help us receive God's blessings and give Him the glory for the great things He does for us.

The prophet Obadiah prophesied about the return of the people of Israel from Babylonian captivity to possess their possessions. "But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions" (Obadiah 1:17, KJV).

Day 1 opens the first phase: THE KINGDOM SHALL BE THE LORD'S. Each day carries a theme, a prayer warrant of numbered prayer points, and the scriptures on which those prayers stand.
